About The Position
This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit. As the Material Handler you will execute storage, material handling, replenish and fulfillment functions within the Plant while meeting our World Class Manufacturing and Distribution standards. This position allows for up to 29 hours of shifts to be picked up per week. Work the hours that are right for you.
Requirements
- Ability to quickly learn and safely operate powered industrial trucks.
- Self-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve.
Nice To Haves
- 6 months of forklift operation experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Move raw materials and finished goods to and from Production areas
- Complete system transactions for every physical movement in a timely and accurate manner
- Replenish pick locations as needed
- Load and unload trucks
- Operate forklifts within the Safety standards
- Report forklift maintenance issues/error codes and fill out inspection sheets daily
- Audit discrepancies with inventory using transaction history
- Participate and assist inventory cycle counts and reconciliation
- Support all production teams in plant as needed
- Pick product for customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Use People Soft transactions to process orders
- Operate semi-automatic pallet wrappers as needed
