About The Position

Engineering Industries Inc. is hiring a Regrind Material Handler to help keep its manufacturing operations running smoothly. The role processes reusable scrap material and stores it properly, supporting custom plastic injection molding operations. The position is suited to someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. The role includes operating and monitoring granulator equipment, checking material quality, following work instructions and safety procedures, and making minor adjustments or troubleshooting basic issues with minimal supervision. The Material Handler may also support Press Utility Operator responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions and other job-related paperwork.
Basic computer and math skills.
Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Process reusable scrap material through grinding and other reprocessing methods.
Read and follow work orders, processing notes, and other job-related instructions.
Complete pre-operation checklists to ensure equipment is safe and ready for use.
Monitor regrind particle size and material cleanliness to maintain quality standards.
Collect material samples as needed.
Observe equipment for potential issues, including clogged blades and hoppers.
Make minor equipment adjustments and troubleshoot basic issues, such as material changes and clearing jams, with minimal supervision.
Follow safety guidelines and lockout procedures related to granulator equipment and operation.
Support Press Utility Operator responsibilities as needed.
