Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field.
  • Individuals are asked to learn various ERP systems in this role.
  • Warehouse, RF Computer scan experience, computer proficiency, quality cycle counts, logistics scheduling LTL, shipping, receiving, inventory management.
  • Must be able to handle materials: sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50lbs, walk, push/pull, drive forklift, operate warehouse equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers, forklifts)
  • Experience in a cGMP environment
  • Hazmat preferred
  • Forklift experience highly desirable, or must become forklift certified within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety checks, review safety protocols, monitor warehouse conditions, and ensure compliance with Thermo Fisher Scientific safety policies.
  • Accurately pick customer orders, verify sales orders and shipping manifests, package products for shipment, and ensure all materials are handled, documented, and shipped according to quality and operational standards.
  • Participate in Daily Management Board meetings, apply 5S and Standard Work principles, monitor warehouse equipment and temperature controls, maintain housekeeping standards, and identify process improvement opportunities through PPI Lean tools and Kaizen activities.
