FT Material Handler

About The Position

This full-time position is responsible for properly handling materials at a site and responding to customer-specific needs and requests in a timely manner. The role follows a set schedule within a 24-hour workweek and works Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Pay is $15 per hour.

Requirements

Most sites require a valid driver's license.
Most sites require forklift experience.
Most sites require pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

Safely package, label, and load biohazardous waste.
Operate equipment based on site requirements.
Respond to material-handling needs related to on-site and remote solid-waste and recycling duties.
Use required personal protective equipment in every waste-handling area.
Ensure medical waste is properly disposed of, where applicable.
Verify that logs, including chemical autoclave, weights and temperatures, and spore-testing records, are complete, accurate, and adequately documented.
Complete required documentation and signatures for destruction.
Clear and dispose of recycling materials in various locations.
Record units delivered and their locations when documenting the disposition of materials and supplies.
Follow site-assigned communication standards.
