About The Position
A Material Handler oversees the process of moving and distribution materials. He/she will be responsible for staging materials, driving forklift, lifting 50 pound bags, manual drum moving, charging reactors and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be able to lift to 50 pounds
- Be able to climb stairs and work at heights
- Be able to work a rotating shift
- Be able to work overtime when needed or required (including weekends & holidays)
Responsibilities
- Staging materials
- Driving forklift
- Lifting 50 pound bags
- Manual drum moving
- Charging reactors
- Housekeeping
- Work safely and follow all policies and procedures
- Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately
- Check equipment for unsafe unusual conditions and correct or report findings to maintenance
- Follow all site safety policies and wear appropriate PPE
- Ensure that Routine Job Tasks are completed
- Adhere to Polynt Attendance Policy
