About The Position

As a Material Handler at GXO, you will help provide supply chain solutions to customers by moving material and inventory throughout the facility. The role may include packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, verifying orders, labeling products, and using material-handling equipment and handheld scanners. You are expected to follow the 7S program, maintain a clean work environment, and work safely to protect yourself and your team. The position requires physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in hot or cold warehouse environments.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.
