Requirements

Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows.
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Must successfully complete safety courses and obtain OSHA certification.
Must have the ability to read, write, and perform simple math calculations.
Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others.
Must be able to work in a dusty environment with strong odors.
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to follow established procedures.
Must have common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
One year background in a warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with dock personnel to ensure effective operation of shipping dock activities.
Receive inbound finished goods from co-packers and off-site storage facilities and perform required inventory control transactions.
Work with dock personnel to complete outbound loading orders.
Complete and process required inventory control transactions according to company/department standards, including scanning and printing tickets with barcode equipment.
Transport and store materials in a neat and orderly manner.
Perform daily housekeeping duties in the warehouse areas, including sweeping, collecting trash, and collecting damaged product.
Operate equipment in a safe manner and ensure the equipment is in good working order by checking and reporting equipment problems.
Follow all safety and Good Manufacturing guidelines.
Work in other job positions under Materials Management as needed.
Accurately enter information into the time clock to record cost center changes, time in, and time out.
