Requirements

Ability to drive material delivery equipment in a warehouse environment (training and certification will be provided).
General computer skills will be required for all Support Tech II jobs (training will be provided for the systems used within our operations).

Nice To Haves

Prior forklift experience in a warehouse environment.
Prior manufacturing experience.
Prior experience using a Kanban delivery system.

Responsibilities

Operating a forklift supporting various manufacturing operations (machining, coating, assembly, shipping, receiving, and warehouse).
Preparing small parts into appropriate containers to be delivered to the point of use on the assembly lines.
Receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations using forklifts, clamp lifts, and narrow aisle lift trucks.
Indirect support of manufacturing operations for large and small part replenishment to the various machining cells, coating operations, and assembly lines.
Participating in daily 5S+1 activities maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote a safe work environment.
Delivery of large parts utilizing a powered industrial truck to various operations throughout Plant 15L.
Utilizing radio communication and Mercury’s material replenishment system to deliver parts throughout the plant as requested to meet daily production needs.
Following plant safety rules while maintaining a clean and organized work area utilizing 5S+1 principles.
Supporting various quality and productivity activities on an as needed basis.
Picking and delivery of both bulk and small parts utilizing narrow aisle lift trucks to support operations.
Utilizing a Kanban system and Mercury’s material replenishment system to replenish parts using lean methodology.
Supporting replenishment of parts utilizing a variety of equipment to/from our warehouses to support daily manufacturing functions.
Receiving parts from offsite warehouses, 3PL’s and suppliers utilizing Mercury’s material flow systems.
Shipping parts to offsite warehouses, 3PL’s, suppliers and manufacturing operations.
Maintaining markets to support internal needs.
