Hitachi Energy is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler for its Mount Pleasant, PA Distribution Center. This role involves loading and unloading transport items, managing inventory, labeling and organizing products, handling returns, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth operations. Requirements

GED / High School degree required.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Moves and stores materials/products using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery/equipment (e.g., forklifts and conveyors).
Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
Works under moderate supervision.
Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading various transport items within the warehouse.
Ensuring deliveries match purchase orders accurately.
Recording inventory statuses, keeping track of stock levels, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Labeling products and placing them appropriately within the warehouse.
Identifying and locating the right products during the delivery process.
Completing technical documentation and other necessary communication when dealing with returns.
Working closely with internal departments to locate missing packages, rectify incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged products.
Handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products according to established guidelines.
Logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products.
Operating low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
