About The Position

Weisgram Metal Fab (WMF), a family-owned metal fabrication business founded in 1982 and located in West Fargo, North Dakota, produces parts and components for the agricultural, construction, and transportation industries. The company is seeking a Material Handler for the paint department on the night shift. The role involves moving materials and products, following job travelers to ensure materials reach the correct locations, and inspecting forklifts. The night shift runs from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with Friday hours varying. Overtime schedules often include Friday hours. Night shift employees receive a $3.50 per hour pay differential.

Requirements

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Production or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move a variety of materials and products.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, or shelves in the paint department.
• Read and understand job travelers to move materials to the correct location.
• Inspect forklifts and report needed repairs to the maintenance department.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
