About The Position
Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Material Handler for its Jackson, Tennessee team. The role involves supporting manufacturing and distribution operations by moving components, tanks, and finished products; receiving and distributing incoming materials; and completing shipping and receiving transactions. The starting pay is $20.39 per hour. The listed shift is first shift, Monday through Thursday.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment operating a powered industrial vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating a tugger.
Responsibilities
- Complete forklift inspection paperwork before using a forklift.
- Operate a tugger to deliver components and tanks to compressor weld and assembly lines.
- Complete SAP transactions for shipping and receiving as necessary.
- Transport finished product from assembly lines to the designated shipping area.
- Receive incoming raw, MRO, maintenance, engineering, office, and other materials and distribute them appropriately.
- Drive a powered industrial truck as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
