About The Position

Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near a plant, yard, or work site, performing tasks under specific direction that may include shipping and receiving. The role includes opening containers, counting and weighing materials, recording information, handling materials by hand or with equipment, and completing transactions in a material management system. The position may require occasional extended hours to meet deadlines and travel up to 10% of the time. U.S. citizenship is required.

Requirements

• For level 2, a bachelor's degree and 0 years of experience, or a high school diploma and at least 3 years of relevant warehouse or production scheduling experience.
• Able to lift or move 35 pounds unassisted.
• Proficient using SAP or similar MMAS systems.
• Proficient with office suite software.
• Able to perform a two-person lift in accordance with MIL-STD-1472.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Able to work extended hours occasionally to meet deadlines.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Open containers using hand tools; count and weigh materials and record information.
• Load and unload materials by hand onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, machines, and trucks.
• Move materials using a wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices.
• Stack or assemble materials and assist machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or using a power hoist.
• Perform transactions in a material management system to reflect movements of material.
• Perform shipping and/or receiving tasks as directed.
