Material Handler 2
About The Position
The Material Handler 2 maintains production and distribution by delivering production materials and supplies and staging finished product. The role loads and unloads products to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas, reads schedules and orders to determine what needs to be moved or distributed, understands customer shipment packaging specifications, and records quantities of materials or items received and distributed. FM Industries is a manufacturing solutions provider specializing in build-to-print precision machined components, anodizing, and engineered thermal spray coatings, supporting customers from prototype through production. The company has locations in Fremont and Livermore, California, and offers multiple shift opportunities.
Requirements
- Forklift certification is required.
- 3–5 years of experience.
- Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency using MS Office.
- Ability to work with Finance on invoicing receipts and problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Deliver production materials and supplies and stage finished product.
- Load and unload products to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.
- Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Understand packaging specifications for customer shipments.
- Record quantities of materials or items received or distributed.
