About The Position

Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is seeking a Warehouse / Shipping & Receiving Associate in San Diego, California. This is a long-term contract with the possibility of further extension. The role supports packing, unpacking, shipping, receiving, and inventory management for semiconductor equipment, accessories, parts, and components. It involves following detailed packaging procedures, handling delicate and sensitive equipment, maintaining inventory records, and preparing materials for safe transportation.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or packaging operations.
Experience packaging sensitive equipment to prevent transportation damage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Willingness to purchase and wear personal steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes, which are required PPE.

Nice To Haves

SAP or ERP experience.

Responsibilities

Pack and unpack equipment, accessories, parts, and components.
Follow established procedures to package delicate and sensitive equipment safely.
Use basic hand tools to install shipping locks or remove components before packaging.
Perform shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory activities.
Maintain accurate records of material movement using ERP systems.
Perform inventory cycle counts and monitor packaging material supplies.
Coordinate outbound shipments with internal departments.
Assist with preparing kits for assembly operations.
Ensure the quality, accuracy, and proper handling of all materials.
