About The Position

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for keeping material moving within the warehouse and ensuring that field teams have the necessary pipe, fittings, tools, and consumables without delay. This role involves receiving, staging, and delivering materials accurately and on time. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency of the field operations by ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time.

Requirements

Ability to accurately read packing slips, purchase orders, and material identification.
Experience loading, securing, and hauling material to various staging areas by forklift.
Physically able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors year-round.
Organized, dependable, and self-directed.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

1+ years of experience in warehouse, construction, or industrial material handling preferred.

Responsibilities

Unloading, inspecting, and verifying deliveries against purchase orders, and flagging any shortages or damages.
Ensuring material traceability by matching and verifying heat numbers, MTRs, and material tags.
Staging pipe, spools, fittings, and consumables by crew and work area in advance of the daily plan.
Delivering materials and tools to active work fronts throughout the shift, ensuring loads are secured and compliant with DOT regulations.
Maintaining the cleanliness, identification, and protection of laydown yards, conexes, and the warehouse.
Tracking consumables and reordering them before they run out.
Operating forklifts, telehandlers, and pallet jacks safely, performing daily inspections and basic care.
Adhering to safety protocols, including participating in toolbox talks, using proper rigging and lifting techniques, wearing appropriate PPE, and following client site rules.
