About The Position

Processes the required amount of donated merchandise in preparation for sale to salvage vendors for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. The role requires strong adherence to safety policies and the use of all required personal protective equipment. Employees may be cross-trained as Retail Sales Associates and/or Forklift Operators.

The position requires regular, consistent in-person attendance and maintaining an organized, safe workstation and clean work environment. Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable for the position.
• Must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Meet the minimum quota set for the assigned department.
• Inspect donated merchandise as required, assess its quality, and determine the proper category.
• Safeguard company property, including donated goods, and report incidents of theft, misappropriation, or unauthorized possession of company property.
• Receive and process merchandise.
• Maintain an organized and safe workstation free from food, drink, and other personal items.
• Maintain a clean work environment, including restrooms, floors, walls, windows, and parking lots, as directed.
• Follow and ensure compliance with safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Immediately address and/or report unsafe conditions or potential hazards.
• Maintain regular and consistent in-person attendance.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• May be cross-trained to work as a Retail Sales Associate and/or Forklift Operator.
