About The Position

FoodScience LLC in Williston, VT, is seeking a full-time Material Handler to support our Shipping and Warehouse team. The hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m - 11:30 p.m. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials are accurately staged, tracked, and delivered to support manufacturing operations and maintain workflow efficiency. The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and organization of materials within our warehouse and production areas.

Responsibilities

  • Transfer materials to designated storage locations and ensure nothing is left on the floor
  • Pull, stage, and deliver components, raw goods, labels, cartons, and other materials for production runs
  • Return unused materials to stock and accurately record transactions in Process Pro
  • Assist in pulling and putting away raw materials while maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Inspect incoming materials, verify part numbers, and report discrepancies
  • Keep production lines supplied with necessary materials to ensure continuous workflow
  • Remove finished goods from production lines, wrap pallets, and transfer to designated storage areas
  • Stage pallets and prepare finished goods for shipment, including transfers to the Waterbury facility
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment and assist with breaking down packaging materials
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (training and certification provided)
  • Communicate regularly with Line Leads and the Shipping Manager to support production and shipping goals
  • Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards in daily operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
