About The Position

Material Handlers are responsible for picking, putaway, and replenishing finished goods (STOs) and raw materials for the technical shelves in Building 1, as well as drums located in the Mushroom Area. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean and clutter-free work area.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to operate a forklift and pass forklift certification.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, meet strict deadlines, manage multiple projects, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain attention to detail, identify and define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office software.
Flexibility to work off-shift hours to meet business needs.

Nice To Haves

Basic DOT training.
One year of warehouse or similar experience.
Manufacturing industry experience.

Responsibilities

Operate all types of forklift trucks.
Stage materials for production and storage.
Apply appropriate labels to materials, including barcode, storage, and handling labels.
Transfer approved materials to designated warehouse bin locations using SAP.
Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
Maintain 5S standards and a clean work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
