About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials throughout the manufacturing facility. This role ensures production areas have the necessary materials to meet production schedules, maintains accurate inventory records, and supports shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. The Material Handler operates material handling equipment, follows safety procedures, and works closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements

• Ability to rotate between all Logistics jobs: Material Handler, Receiver, Shipper, Stretch Wrap, Cycle Counter, Recyclables, Service Material Handler, Battery Maintenance.
• Ability to follow and apply QS9000 procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy at cycle count level that is > 96%.
• Proficient use of a computer, bar scanning devices and associated equipment.
• Ability to maintain the assembly cell by delivering materials and removing finished goods in a timely manner.
• Ability to receive and ship products correctly and in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in operating all material handling equipment in a safe and expeditious manner.
• Working knowledge of KANBAN.
• Willingness to perform other duties as specified by supervisor.
