About The Position

As a Material Handler at GXO, you will help provide supply chain solutions by moving material and inventory throughout the facility and supporting warehouse operations. The role is scheduled for the weekend day shift, Friday through Monday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Duties may include packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, verifying orders, labeling products, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
Be able to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
Be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods.
Be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
Be able to handle or manage tools or equipment.
Be able to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a warehouse environment.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
Experience using a handheld scanner.
A positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

Move material and inventory throughout the facility to support operations.
Use hand trucks, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment.
Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting, or counting products.
Verify orders, label products, and use a handheld scanner.
Adhere to the 7S program.
Maintain a clean environment.
Work safely to protect yourself and team members.
