Material Handler - 3rd Shift

About The Position

As a Material Handler at GXO, you will support the company’s supply chain operations by moving materials and inventory throughout a facility and helping provide supply chain solutions to customers. The role is scheduled for the third shift, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Duties may include packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, verifying orders, labeling products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position requires handling materials and equipment and working in varying warehouse temperatures, with frequent lifting, carrying, standing, walking, and bending or twisting.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds.
Handle or manage tools or equipment.
Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
Routinely carry objects 3–5 feet weighing up to 50 pounds.
Stand for prolonged periods of more than four hours.
Walk continuously for more than 10,000 steps (4–5 miles) per day.
Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull objects of various shapes and sizes in team lifts.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a warehouse environment.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
Experience using a handheld scanner.

Responsibilities

Move material and inventory throughout the facility to support operations.

Maintain a clean environment.
