About The Position

U.S. Lumber, an SBP Brand, is looking for a 2nd Shift Part-Time Material Handler to join their team in Hebron, OH. The starting pay rate is $18/hour. This role is within a VALUES-based organization and focuses on safely operating forklifts for various tasks, maintaining the warehouse environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience.
• Must have basic math and analytical skills.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.

Nice To Haves

• Prior lumber experience desired.
• Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material.
• Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Maintain the condition of the Warehouse work area, ensuring it is free of trash, product is in the correct location and organized, and floors are swept.
• Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees to complete the required workload.
• Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality, and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy, and track and trace issues.
• Read and understand tickets and the various codes for products.
• Accurately pull daily orders.
