About The Position

The Material Handler - Warehouse position is an onsite, 1-year temp-to-hire opportunity at the New Stanton Westinghouse facility. The role supports daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory and storeroom activities, material handling, and general operational support. Duties include receiving, storing, retrieving, packaging, labeling, and transporting materials while maintaining accurate inventory and location records in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and other systems. The position also involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, assisting other teams and external suppliers, and handling materials safely. This role reports to the Supervisor of Material Handling and Inventory Control.

Requirements

Relevant warehouse experience.
High school degree or equivalent.
Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
Computer skills.

Responsibilities

Arrange, store, and retrieve warehouse items, and maintain accurate location records in SAP, Microsoft Excel, or other systems.
Load, wrap, mark, and label stock or equipment on pallets or in containers.
Follow organizational packaging quality standards and national packaging best practices.
Communicate daily with internal customers and external suppliers and participate in peer-to-peer process, procedure, and safety training.
Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
Follow safety requirements and maintain forklift and other equipment certifications and training.
Drive a Westinghouse vehicle to drop off or pick up material for plating, testing, or other purposes.
Assist Storeroom and Shipping/Receiving personnel.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
