About The Position

WineDirect Fulfillment is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Material Handler for its Production team at its American Canyon, California facility. The role supports the company’s wine fulfillment operations by moving bulk products and individual cases into staging and forward-pick locations. The Material Handler operates forklifts, reach trucks, and stock pickers; uses RF devices to complete inventory movements; and assists with truck loading and unloading while meeting safety, security, and productivity standards.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or distribution center.
• Experience using RF devices.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift heavy objects weighing 40 pounds or more.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• A highly developed sense of empathy and focus on providing a good experience for partners, clients, and end consumers.

• Wine industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely and proficiently operate material-handling equipment.
• Use pick sheets, work orders, and RF devices as needed to pull inventory.
• Inspect pulled products for quality and accuracy.
• Report and document damaged products that are not suitable for shipping.
• Stage products for the club assembly line.
• Load and unload trucks in the shipping and receiving departments.
• Notify supervisors of mechanical or material issues.
• Use safety equipment and follow safety rules and practices.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
