About The Position

The Material Handler position is responsible for accurately ordering, filling, kitting, stocking, loading, and inspecting materials while maintaining inventory record accuracy through transfers and cycle counts. This role involves transporting materials using appropriate equipment such as a pallet jack or forklift, and organizing/lining set materials according to the operations schedule. The Material Handler will also identify damaged materials and shortages, communicate issues, and follow proper handling procedures. Additionally, this role assists with physical inventory, quality improvement efforts, and operator assistance with heavy objects, while maintaining safety standards, good housekeeping practices, and completing required administrative tasks.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
1-2 years related experience
Valid forklift license
Physical ability to lift 40+ pounds
Ability to climb 20-foot ladders
Willingness to work overtime on short notice
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
Working knowledge of barcode scanners
Familiarity with line set practices
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities
