Material Handler Operations Lead - Outbound - 2nd Shift - (English/Spanish)
About The Position
The Material Handler Operations Lead will assist the Supervisor in the 2nd Shift day to day operations. Our people leaders are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by assisting the Operations Supervisor in the day to day operations, ensuring work is accomplished effectively by managing employee performance, work processes and other resources, ensuring all safety rules and procedures are followed, being responsible for and overseeing their respective department, monitoring the activities of the department staff, communicating, interpreting and discussing with the team the company policies and procedures, determining job objectives, work methods and performance standards, and ensuring team members are following all SOPs and meeting productivity requirements. This role also involves managing inventory displays.
Requirements
- Ability to work in team environment
- Ability to focus on detail and quality
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to efficiently use IT hardware, software and peripherals as it pertains to the performance of daily tasks
- Working knowledge of Material Handling issues
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (written and verbal)
- Walking or standing at a minimum of 80% of the shift
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Performing tasking in a busy environment
- Bending, squatting, pivoting and stooping may be required
