Material Handler Operations Lead - Outbound - 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Material Handler Operations Lead will assist the Supervisor in the 1st Shift day to day operations. Our people leaders are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by: Assist the Operations Supervisor in the day to day operations Ensuring work is accomplished effectively by managing employee performance, work processes and other resources Ensure all safety rules and procedures are followed Responsible for and oversee their respective department Monitor the activities of the department staff; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures Determine job objectives, work methods and performance standards - Ensure team members are following all SOPs and meeting productivity requirements Managing inventory displays
Requirements
- Ability to work in team environment
- Ability to focus on detail and quality
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to efficiently use IT hardware, software and peripherals as it pertains to the performance of daily tasks
- Working knowledge of Material Handling issues
- Walking or standing at a minimum of 80% of the shift
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Performing tasking in a busy environment
- Bending, squatting, pivoting and stooping may be required
