Kapco Inc. is looking for a Material Handler Lead on our 2nd shift at our Grafton, WI facility.

Requirements

  • Must be able to plan for movement of needed parts and material for production.
  • Successfully completes forklift certification program.
  • Practices safe and alert material handling at all times.
  • Performs pre-shift maintenance checks of designated forklift equipment and associated record keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and work with a team that handles in-plant materials.
  • Picks up and delivers raw materials, work in process inventory, and packaging supplies, as needed, to and from the presses and shipping areas.
  • Loads coils.
  • Returns correctly identified materials to proper location in inventory.
  • Supply weld cells.
  • Disposes of scrap.
  • Performs necessary identification and inventory paperwork.
  • Successfully completes forklift certification program.
  • Practices safe and alert material handling at all times.
  • Performs pre-shift maintenance checks of designated forklift equipment and associated record keeping.
  • Must be able to plan for movement of needed parts and material for production.
  • Keeps all materials and products neat and organized.
  • Assists production operators with timely delivery of products and containers, as needed.
  • Works between departments.
  • Safety team member and leader.
  • Keeps team engaged through communication and enthusiasm.
  • Other duties as assigned.
