Kapco Inc. is looking for a Material Handler Lead on our 2nd shift at our Grafton, WI facility.

Requirements

Must be able to plan for movement of needed parts and material for production.
Successfully completes forklift certification program.
Practices safe and alert material handling at all times.
Performs pre-shift maintenance checks of designated forklift equipment and associated record keeping.

Responsibilities

Lead and work with a team that handles in-plant materials.
Picks up and delivers raw materials, work in process inventory, and packaging supplies, as needed, to and from the presses and shipping areas.
Loads coils.
Returns correctly identified materials to proper location in inventory.
Supply weld cells.
Disposes of scrap.
Performs necessary identification and inventory paperwork.
Successfully completes forklift certification program.
Practices safe and alert material handling at all times.
Performs pre-shift maintenance checks of designated forklift equipment and associated record keeping.
Must be able to plan for movement of needed parts and material for production.
Keeps all materials and products neat and organized.
Assists production operators with timely delivery of products and containers, as needed.
Works between departments.
Safety team member and leader.
Keeps team engaged through communication and enthusiasm.
Other duties as assigned.
