About The Position

Emerson is hiring a Material Handler III (Powered Equipment Operator Reach Truck/Order Selector) for its distribution center in Olive Branch, Mississippi. This first-shift role safely and efficiently handles materials throughout the warehouse, including stocking incoming items, replenishing flow racks and orders, and picking orders with powered equipment. The position also supports shipping preparation, productivity, quality, and housekeeping requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Prior forklift certification and at least 6 months of previous warehouse experience.
Previous shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience.
Ability to operate a forklift safely and pass forklift certifications and requirements.
Ability to pass a non-DOT physical exam.
Ability to lift parts weighing more than 50 pounds, with assistance when needed.
Ability to work in bending, squatting, and standing positions for prolonged periods, and to reach, push, pull, grasp, band, and stretch as required.
Ability to work quickly while meeting productivity and quality standards.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided.
Ability to work overtime when necessary.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience using RF equipment to move product.
Strong teamwork skills and a proven ability to collaborate in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Hands-on experience and ability to work cross-functionally in different areas.

Responsibilities

Move products within the warehouse using motorized equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order selectors, or reach lifts.
Stock incoming items, replenish flow racks, and pick orders using RF equipment.
Create cartons and labels prior to shipping.
Maintain minimum productivity standards and work with a sense of urgency.
Follow safety rules, policies, procedures, and applicable Emerson, federal, state, and local requirements.
Replenish orders as needed to support operations.
Supply cardboard boxes and bags to departments.
Meet department quality, attendance, and productivity requirements.
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
