About The Position

Join King & Prince Seafood as a Material Handler I and help keep production running smoothly. This hands-on position involves moving and managing materials, removing defective products to support quality, and working with the logistics team. The role supports seafood processing and production in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The position follows instructions from Line Techs and Line Auditors, along with established guidelines. Employees must comply with company safety, quality, SOP, HACCP, GMP, and food safety policies. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., with overtime when required.

Requirements

• Must be available to work Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., with overtime when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively for extended periods.
• Higher degree of manual dexterity required.
• Must become certified to use a manual and electric pallet jack.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures, including GMP and food safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Open and prepare raw material for processing.
• Perform manual labor tasks as needed.
• Remove defective product from the production line.
• Prepare seafood for processing.
• Package and palletize finished goods.
• Comply with company safety, quality, SOP, HACCP, and GMP guidelines.
• Occasionally assist with line setup.
• Maintain appropriate levels of ingredients and raw materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
