About The Position

Dealer Tire is seeking a Material Handler/Delivery Driver to help move products through warehouse operations and deliver them to local customers. The role combines warehouse tasks, physical activity, and driving non-CDL 16-foot box trucks and sprinter vans. The position is based at 10058 E Airline Hwy, St. Rose, Louisiana, and is scheduled for first shift within business hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., 40 hours per week. Base pay is $21.50 per hour, with an opportunity to increase base pay after six months and a monthly incentive bonus based on individual contribution and warehouse team performance.

The role includes loading and unloading trucks, picking orders, organizing inventory, and making timely deliveries. Employees work in a fast-paced environment involving extended periods of standing, bending, and walking, and may operate material-handling equipment after training. Applicants must be at least 21, have a valid driver’s license and at least one year of U.S.-based driving experience, and complete a criminal background check, DOT physical, and three-year motor vehicle report. The work requires frequent lifting of up to 70 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 90 pounds, as well as comfort working at heights up to 25 feet.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and at least one year of U.S.-based driving experience.
• Must complete a criminal background check.
• Must complete a DOT physical and provide a three-year motor vehicle report.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds frequently and up to 90 pounds occasionally.
• Must be comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet.
• Must have good communication skills in English.
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
