About The Position

Eads Cooling Solutions is seeking an experienced Material Handler to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service. The Material Handler will be responsible for various material handling functions, including operating equipment like forklifts, scissor lifts, Jib cranes, and bridge cranes.

Requirements

6 months to 1 year experience as a material handler in a manufacturing environment
Forklift, crane, and other lifting devices certifications
Detail oriented
Self-motivated
Must be able to work in a team environment
Ability to frequent, reach, lift, sit, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, squat, bend, and balance
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Excellent spatial orientation
Work safely and look out for the safety of the team
Keep a clean and hazard free workspace
Identify any defective items and handle them accordingly
Follow JSA, work instructions, and use identified PPE
Use reason to solve problems
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Takes pride in work product and ensure quality work is completed daily
Performs other related duties as assigned

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Operate various sizes and types of forklifts
Operate a bridge crane and jib crane
Clearly communicate and interact professionally with truck drivers and other delivery personnel
Perform daily inspections of equipment, including appropriate daily documentation
Appropriately rig a load for lifting
Inspect rigging
Determine the appropriate process for moving raw materials or finished product
Other duties as assigned/directed by supervisor
