Material Handler Associate – Forklift Operator

About The Position

The picker will utilize consolidated pick reports to pick a wide variety of items and place items in appropriate area for production usage. This is a full-time, nonexempt position.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Forklift experience and ability to pass Bitzer certification.
Must be able to stand on feet for at least 10 hours/day.

Detailed oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast moving environment.
Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction.
Team orientated and self-motivated.
Basic Math knowledge.

Responsibilities

Pick orders as requested by supervisor.
Proper handling of parts.
Operate stand up forklift, cherry picker, or scissor lift.
Ensure correct item and quantity delivered to production area.
Use WMS and RF systems to transfer inventory locations.
Work with cycle count team to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Assist with annual physical inventory.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Adhere to all Bitzer safety policies and procedures.
Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized area in accordance with Bitzer’s 5S protocol.
