About The Position

TAG Hardware designs, engineers, and manufactures innovative storage and organization products used in premium homes around the world. We are looking for a Material Handler/ Forklift operator to keep our powder coating and production teams supplied and ready to go. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys active work, operating equipment, and being part of a team that makes things happen.

Requirements

A valid forklift certification
Previous experience operating forklift, (sit down/stand up) in a warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 40 lbs
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English
Basic math skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently, load and put away material from the warehouse using hand and power operated handling equipment.
Maintain the flow of materials being used in powder coating and production.
Load and unload materials in accordance with scheduling needs.
Ensure updated inventory levels by accurately recording inventory transactions.
Ensure items are restocked according to established procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
Perform daily safety checklists and adhere comply with all safe work practices.
Operation of a variety of production equipment.
At times, support warehouse operations loading, unloading materials and preparing items for shipment.
Other duties as required
