About The Position

The area is climate control and clean. Although it will be hot and humid and loud. You will be working in a team setting and occasionally working alone. The smell of tobacco is strong but not overwhelming.

Requirements

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to climb stairs
Able to reach above shoulders for tasks
Stand in one position for extended periods
Bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
Basic math skills for inventory and quantity verification.
Proficiency in operating RF scanners for product tracking and data entry.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating forklifts, stand-up lifts, and JLG.
Experience with WMS (warehouse management system).
Experience with RF scanners.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, stand-up lifts, and JLG.
Use scanners to access and update the WMS (warehouse management system).
Receive schedule and instructions from the Control Room Specialist (CRS).
Identify bulker numbers, blend type (Regular, Menthol, Additive Free, Organic), and quantity.
Prepare and clean cans or build boxes as needed.
Set up and operate the portable conveyor belt; ensure CRS inspection.
Assign products to containers and designate destinations using the scanner.
Work as part of a team to complete the pull-out process.
Confirm the container count with CRS and resolve discrepancies.
Clean and store equipment; record waste amounts.
Confirm equipment status with CRS and review Age Summary Spreadsheet.
Retrieve and scan product; verify blend and lot number.
Load product into equipment gradually to avoid jams.
Clean equipment after use and log cleaning in SharePoint.
Operate PIVs, scanner, and metal bander.
Monitor and replace full or aging containers.
Assign and weigh containers; stage appropriately.
Band boxes as needed and maintain supply of empty containers.
Perform weekly cleaning using JLG.
Maintain cleanliness of the dust room.
Sweep floors and mop curbs.
Manage cardboard recycling.
Keep containers organized and maintain a clean work area.
