The Assembler/Material Handler is responsible for supporting both production and warehouse operations by assembling products to specification while ensuring materials are safely moved, staged, and supplied to production areas to maintain an efficient workflow. This role involves fabricating and assembling components, operating assembly equipment and small machinery, interpreting work orders and blueprints, inspecting product quality, packaging finished goods and kits, and meeting daily production goals. Additionally, the position is responsible for supplying raw materials to production, transporting materials and finished goods throughout the facility, loading and organizing pallets, supporting inventory activities, and maintaining accurate material flow between warehouse and manufacturing operations. The role also requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment, reporting equipment issues or product defects, and assisting other departments as operational needs require. Ensuring the inspection of material as it is being fabricated, maintaining and recording daily production and production quotas, and notifying the supervisor and/or team lead when a machine is not working properly are also key duties. Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections and performing other duties as assigned are also part of the responsibilities.
