About The Position

Material Handler 2 performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. This is a 1st Shift position, working from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Basic computer ability.
Ability to understand and follow directions.
Must be 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Clerical skills.
Time-management skills.
Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production.
Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
