About The Position
This role is responsible for various material handling tasks within the warehouse, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and adherence to safety and quality standards. The position operates on a 2nd shift schedule and requires flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, depending on business demands.
Requirements
- Previous PIT training with a license/certification active within 3 years.
- 6 months of PIT operator experience.
- Ability to operate sit-down, stand-up, and other PIT machinery.
Nice To Haves
- HS Diploma preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Ability to work with changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Successfully complete the Power Industrial Truck Certification Program.
- Practice and observe "Safety First" principles and adhere to all job safety rules.
- Abide by all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ensure the warehouse is always in SQF Audit readiness.
- Drive forklifts in a safe manner.
- Ensure and organize the supply of raw goods to production staging areas.
- Support the tote supply function, transferring totes from the tote staging area to production.
- Perform assigned tasks as required per SOP guidelines.
- Understand allergen and organic warehousing regulations.
- Complete all required documentation per SOP guidelines.
- Complete other assignments as requested by leadership.
