About The Position

RRD is a leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions. This role is responsible for palletizing finished goods, ensuring pallets are wrapped for stability and neatness, and loading/unloading materials to assigned machine units. The position involves the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment, meeting quality, output, and production goals.

Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to assess obstacles and make minor non-mechanical adjustments to ensure safety and maintenance procedures are followed.
  • Ability and knowledge to operate a pallet jack.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team player (works well with others).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (varying upon equipment).
  • Ability to carry up to 17 lbs.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to twist, stand, walk, reach, and grip/grasp throughout the shift.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 17 lbs.
  • Ability to squat and kneel.
  • Ability to work overtime beyond regular schedule to complete work assignments as required.

Nice To Haves

  • 0-1 year related experience
  • Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Palletize finished goods and ensure pallets are wrapped to maintain stability and neatness.
  • Load and unload materials to assigned machine units.
  • Safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment (e.g., 227, Alphaliner, Ferag).
  • Meet quality, output, and production goals.
  • Prepare all finished products according to established USPS standards, recognizing printed address labels.
  • Verify correct material for the production line.
  • Perform basic machine setup, adjust machine components, and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Respond to indicator lights and display screens, taking required actions to mitigate issues.
  • Clear jams and address errors on end-of-line machine components.
  • Support and comply with safety and security policies, including housekeeping standards.
  • Support and comply with internal and external audits, providing information and performing assigned tasks for compliance.
  • Communicate with team members and share equipment knowledge.
  • Participate in Team Business Meetings.
  • Assist with work prioritization to meet production commitments and goals.
