About The Position
The Material Coordinator plays a critical role in accurately picking orders to ensure correct counts and product selection, wrapping skids to secure parts for safe transportation, and staging completed orders in preparation for shipment. Depending on the needs of the department, the Material Coordinator will assist with loading trailers that will include the use of a forklift as well as manual lifting.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of safety protocols.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, squat, twist, bend at the waist, lift, push, pull, and reach overhead.
- Excellent hand and eye coordination and hand dexterity.
- 1-2 years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
- Accurately pick orders to ensure correct counts and product selection.
- Wrap skids to secure parts for safe transportation.
- Stage completed orders in preparation for shipment.
- Assist with loading trailers, which may include using a forklift.
- Perform manual lifting as needed.
- Operate a forklift.
- Order picking.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly lift up to 30 lbs.
- Maintain strong attention to detail.
- Work in a factory setting with hot and cold temperatures, noise, and dust.
