Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • UKG/SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Technical orientation.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Team orientation.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and multi-task on a daily basis.
  • Ability to work Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Performs support tasks for the manufacturing plant.
  • Enters data into SAP database about quantities of issued and transferred parts.
  • Resolves job/segments shortage discrepancies.
  • Receives manufactured parts into stock and issues them out to upcoming jobs.
  • Assists in daily tasks to assure productivity efficiency.
  • Identifies parts through the use of UKG and drawings.
  • Updates Sr. Management daily on the status of shortages on the segments.
  • Investigates missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders.
  • Monitors and keeps an updated shortage list available for the Shipping Management team.
  • Works with every department to resolve shortages to close job/segments in time.
  • Informs shipping of any findings to help segments ship on time.
  • Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
  • Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
