In this position… As a Material Control Supervisor, you will lead a warehouse team, ensuring safety protocols are followed, inventory is accurately tracked, and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. This is an onsite position that will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends and most holidays. Eligible for overtime pay when working holidays. There is no hybrid option for this position. The primary role of a Lead Material Control Supervisor is to oversee the day-to-day operation of a Parts Distribution Center. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Lead a represented team responsible for Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping. Deliver objectives and KPI's related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism. Engage with key stakeholders including suppliers to deliver key objectives. Maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders, including fair and consistent administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Work closely with management team to ensure all daily task are met timely, develop supervisors, motivate hourly membership and cultivate a safe and healthy working environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3–5-years of leadership experience within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in similar positions like warehouse, logistics, or operations
  • Experience with SAP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively listen, collaborate and problem solve with stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.
  • Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience.
  • Experience working in a union environment.
  • Experience in warehouse/distribution/ production operations.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management systems (MOMS, MMP, SAP, EXE, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Payroll Systems.
