Must have ability and experience to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet and/or exceed dealer shipping deadlines. The Supervisor is expected to work closely with Superintendent and Plant Manager to hit certain expectations of Ford behaviors and Metrics. The Supervisor is expected to work closely with Superintendent and Plant Manager to ensure the following: Responsible for supervising all operations Inbound, outbound, and claims processing Responsible for delivering objectives including but not limited to: Building Safety, positive UAW Relationships, Error Rate, Denial Rate, Inventory Accuracy, Overtime Percentage, Absenteeism, Vacation Scheduling, Grid Time, On Time Delivery, ISO 14001 Environmental Responsibilities, LPMH, Process Adherence/Improvement, Accountability, Customer Satisfaction, Accurate Application of the Ford-UAW National and Local Contracts, Direct Supervision/training of GSR 6 supervisors. Overall Building Organization and Cleanliness, Grievance Resolution, Supervision mentoring and Willingness to Work ALL shifts as required. Cover crews on whatever shift they are assigned Attend, facilitate, and submit proper documentation for crew meetings Prepare/maintain work related records as needed Schedule workforce (including overtime and vacation) Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives toward best-in-class performance You'll have... High school Diploma or GED Minimum 1-3 years operational experience within a manufacturing parts environment. Self Starter willing to work rotating work hours when required Knowledge or ability to learn current systems (SAP/EWM) Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently Goal oriented individual Have Continuous Improvement mind set Excellent organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employees Other Information: Must be able to work outside of traditional work hours. Current operational hours are from 6:00 AM until 1:30 AM Some weekends might be required Must have the ability to work overtime/adjust schedule as required, as the business dictates. This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300-$124,500. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
