About The Position

This position is responsible for accurately providing inventory information for company-controlled material stock and supporting the flow of materials from inventory to the production line. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining material control reports, updating and monitoring inventory adjustments within the inventory management system, tracking part number adjustments, entering cycle count results, developing part-to-part transfers, and assigning locations for incoming materials. The role also involves investigating inventory errors, assisting in internal and external material audits, and maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The individual must comply with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Lean initiatives and complete duties safely, wearing all required PPE.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent working knowledge of Inventory Management Systems
  • Solid proficiency using MS Office software, particularly with Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to use basic measurement instruments such as tape measure, scales, and gauges
  • Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
  • Proven high level of attention to detail and accuracy in written work and data entry, including stock locations and tag accuracies
  • Knowledge of all database programs used and their impact on material control functions (to include Titan, MASS, and/or SAP as required)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing (including e-mail), and to train others
  • Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Obtain and maintain current certification to operate material handling equipment such as, forklift, side-loader, 4-directional lift, or cherry-picker
