Requirements

  • 1 year experience in inventory/production control, purchasing or scheduling

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the automotive sector
  • Proficient in the use of Core MRP and inventory control functions within TRANS4M
  • Understanding and experience with Blackhawk Scan to Location

Responsibilities

  • Forecast materials needs to supply chain and analyze in transit
  • Assist Warehouse with co-ordination of storage locations
  • Provide continuous improvement actions related to supply chain processes
  • Analyze all internal transfer and receiving data entry
  • Analyze forecasts, manage components required for production schedule
  • Operation of daily, weekly and monthly MRPII/ERP processes
  • Inventory control analysis for all WIP, cycle counts, variance analysis and problem resolution; preparation and keying of related inventory transactions
  • Physical Inventory - preparation, counting/auditing counts, variance analysis
  • Actively participate in procedure development and in implementing new processes, methods and software programs; perform system test work as needed to accomplish this
  • Back up for other Material Analyst as required
  • Other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager
  • Travel between plants for inventory counts, meetings, etc
  • Attend Schedule meeting daily
  • Complete runouts for past due or increases – escalate to Ops and Materials with direction
  • Work with CSR on costs that need to be charged back to customer
