Requirements

1 year experience in inventory/production control, purchasing or scheduling

Nice To Haves

Experience in the automotive sector
Proficient in the use of Core MRP and inventory control functions within TRANS4M
Understanding and experience with Blackhawk Scan to Location

Responsibilities

Forecast materials needs to supply chain and analyze in transit
Assist Warehouse with co-ordination of storage locations
Provide continuous improvement actions related to supply chain processes
Analyze all internal transfer and receiving data entry
Analyze forecasts, manage components required for production schedule
Operation of daily, weekly and monthly MRPII/ERP processes
Inventory control analysis for all WIP, cycle counts, variance analysis and problem resolution; preparation and keying of related inventory transactions
Physical Inventory - preparation, counting/auditing counts, variance analysis
Actively participate in procedure development and in implementing new processes, methods and software programs; perform system test work as needed to accomplish this
Back up for other Material Analyst as required
Other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager
Travel between plants for inventory counts, meetings, etc
Attend Schedule meeting daily
Complete runouts for past due or increases – escalate to Ops and Materials with direction
Work with CSR on costs that need to be charged back to customer
