We are seeking a highly accomplished Master Scheduler to provide strategic leadership in the planning, integration, and execution of complex FAA programs that directly support the modernization of the nation’s aviation infrastructure. In this high-impact, highly visible role, you will serve as the authoritative lead for Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS), driving alignment across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, material control, quality, and subcontractor teams to ensure seamless program execution. Work Location: This position is 100% on-site, primarily located in Chantilly, VA, with an alternate work location available in Bowie, MD. Candidates must be able to work on-site at one of these locations based on program requirements. In this position, you will: You will play a pivotal role in enabling proactive program management through advanced schedule analytics, risk mitigation, and data-driven decision support. As a strategic advisor, you will leverage modern reporting and visualization technologies including dashboards, Power BI, and AI-enabled scheduling tools to create dynamic views and predictive models for schedule analysis, program completion tracking, resource forecasting, and conflict resolution. Lead the development, integration, and maintenance of complex program-level Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) aligned with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), contractual milestones, and FAA objectives. Serve as the senior scheduling authority across multiple functional organizations, geographically dispersed teams, and subcontractors—ensuring schedule integrity, transparency, and accountability. Utilize Dashboard, Power BI, and AI-driven analytics tools to build interactive schedule views, model program completion scenarios, identify scheduling conflicts, and support predictive analysis. Perform critical path analysis, resource forecasting, and schedule health assessments to proactively identify risks and drive mitigation strategies that keep programs on track. Partner with executive leadership, FAA stakeholders, engineering teams, and program management offices to provide actionable insights that support strategic and data-driven decisions. Ensure seamless integration of schedules with performance reporting, and all contractual deliverables (CDRLs). Drive schedule analysis and executive reporting in support of major technical and programmatic reviews, including PDRs, CDRs, SRRs, TRRs, and milestone readiness assessments. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by communicating complex schedule challenges, impacts, and recovery strategies with clarity, confidence, and influence. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience or Masters degree and 6 years’ experience or Associate’s degree and 10 years years’ experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 12 years’ experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) and critical path analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with industry-standard scheduling tools, including Primavera P6, MS Project, Smartsheet or equivalent.
  • Proven experience using Dashboard and Microsoft Power BI tools to develop scheduling analytics solutions.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence program direction and decision-making.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of FAA NAS programs, aviation systems development, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing schedules for complex, multi-site, and multi-contractor programs.
