About The Position

The Master Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle for value streams which are complex or in transformation.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree in business-related field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in inventory and production control.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.
  • Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with internal and external contacts.
  • Must be an innovator who embraces Lean principles and who takes initiative to create positive change.
  • U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the United States

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage component and assembly schedules that ensure on time delivery to customers while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Provide support to Operations to create a steady flow of material and information.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve overall value stream performance.
  • Assist Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations associates to use best practices for controlling and flowing materials through each step from the supplier through the organization to the customer.
  • Update and analyze metrics such as on time delivery, inventory levels, and cycle counting and support continuous improvement through problem-solving techniques.
  • Lead Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process from preparation through review meetings and execution.
  • Leads team activities to analyze and improve planning or related processes.
  • Utilizes value stream mapping, benchmarking and innovation, and lead teams to implement the future state with standard work.
