Master's Level Substance Abuse Clinician
About The Position
House of Hope is hiring a compassionate, mission-driven Master’s Level Substance Abuse Clinician to help individuals overcome addiction and mental health challenges through direct client care and group therapy. The role includes developing individualized treatment plans, conducting clinical assessments, facilitating therapeutic groups, supporting clients through crises, and coordinating transitions and aftercare. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in addiction treatment or mental health services.
- Exceptional group facilitation skills.
- Technology proficiency.
- Ability to build quick rapport with clients.
Responsibilities
- Formulate, execute, and adapt comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.
- Complete timely, thorough biopsychosocial evaluations to identify client needs.
- Lead therapeutic counseling groups and evidence-based interventions.
- Provide client orientation, educational resources, and ongoing stabilization support.
- Deliver rapid crisis intervention to ensure immediate client safety and stabilization.
- Manage transition, discharge, and post-treatment aftercare planning.
- Maintain precise, compliant records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
