About The Position

As we recently opened our Hansel Ford of Napa dealership, we are looking for motivated technicians who want to grow with us and build a long‑term career. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new Ford store backed by a stable, well‑established automotive group with 9 dealerships and multiple brands. The Service Technician utilizes all the state-of-the-art equipment and training to efficiently and safely maintain and repair our customers' vehicles. Working as a part of our amazing service team, the technician provides a second-to-none experience for each and every customer. Hansel Auto Group services the following brands: Ford, Lincoln, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, BMW, Subaru, Volkswagen

Requirements

Multiple years' Experience as a Master/Senior automotive technician
ASE Certificates
Provide a clean and valid California license
Have the highest level of workmanship
Must be reliable, punctual, and safety focused
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pass a drug test
Pass a background check
Clean and Valid California driver’s license

Ford Certified Technician is a huge plus!

Responsibilities

Examines customer vehicles
Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance
Estimates cost of repairs
Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance
Documents services performed
Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines
Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines
Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
Participates in required training
Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
Follows Safeguards rules and regulations
Complies with Company policies and procedures
Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
