About The Position
The Master Service Technician performs vehicle maintenance assigned on repair orders in accordance with dealership and factory standards. The role supports customer loyalty by building trust and confidence in AutoNation as a provider of vehicle safety and reliability. Technicians communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors, document work performed, keep current with factory technical bulletins, and participate in factory-sponsored training as appropriate. Performance is measured by targeted production and Customer Satisfaction Index results. The listed pay range is $28.00–$55.00 per hour flat rate; pay within the range may depend on skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
- Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record that can be maintained.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as an express/quick lube technician is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
- Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
- Document the work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
- Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
- Participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty.
